| Four
Seasons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is proud
to announce the opening of its Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing
Program. This dedicated unit is designed to meet
the needs of those residents needing long term
care or short term rehabilitation.
This
program is based on the realization that it is
necessary for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing population
to have effective communication with their health
care providers. Our residents will be receiving
essential services in a dedicated environment
that promotes dignity and wellness with a focus
on quality of care. Special emphasis to enhance
communication with other residents and staff will
be provided through individuals trained in the
use of sign language skills.

and regular audiological screenings on
Hearing aides: use and education

cognitive and mobility skills by providing
auxiliary aids and services
